Marianne Marino's passion is painting people. Her paintings portray glimpses of the human experience in luscious, glorious watercolor. Inspired by one of her vintage photos, her imagination catches fire--weaving a story in her mind about the subject while she paints. "In the end, my representational painting, combined with abstracted design elements, tells a story that evokes an emotional response from the viewer--and that's exciting!" Marianne is a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh; Pennsylvania Watercolor Society; Pittsburgh Watercolor Society; Pittsburgh Society of Artists and Group A.

Vintage Glamour...Jewels of the Week

As I peruse Wexford Antiques and begin to learn, or should I say discover the merchandise, I am finding inspiration just about everywhere. As a new dealer here in Pittsburgh, I am finding it difficult to resist the temptations throughout the store. One thing I can say for sure is that the vintage jewelery selection is top-notch and definitely deserves a shout out.. so much so, I will do it weekly.

What is so fabulous about vintage jewels is that they have impacted fashion in such a huge way that we see their inspiration in current pieces!

Hello men...what girl in your life wouldn't love one of these rhinestone brooches! All the more romantic because you can tell her you found it at the cutest little antique shop!

The best part is that most of the pieces just look like a splurge. You can find a spectacular addition to your jewelry box without breaking the bank!

Paris Apartment

One of the great things about Wexford Antiques is that we have such a wide variety of styles. Take the whole "Paris Apartment" look. Who would expect to find treasures that look like they were purchased in the streets of Paris here in Pittsburgh. Just a few of the many fabulously French treasures you will find are below!

A signature leopard print piece is classic french! The leopard print on this chair paired with the detailed carving would make a perfect addition to any living room.

This angelic lamp with fringe is both elegant and classic... you sure won't see anything like this at a traditional lighting store!
